Displacements |
|
Following the intervention Placas de Esquina (Street
Corner Signs), the artist created simulacra of
these street signs, ‘displacing’ the signs (in the
sense of moving the simulacra from place to place)
in different spots throughout the city. During
these movements, the corners were decontextualized
from their original locality creating new spaces
in urban space.
